What is a block party?
It’s an opportunity for you and your neighbours to get together, meet, and have fun together with a common activity! These are a great way to help you feel safer, knowing who lives around you and it promotes interactions between neighbours of all ages. It helps grow the sense of belonging in your community, creates an open safe space for social gatherings.
How can the Club House help support your block party?
We will create and order door hangers to help promote your block party details, for you to distribute to your neighbours.
We will privately contact all neighbours on your block to inform them of the event and to save the date. We will also send a reminder email closer to the date.
You can borrow some of our larger outdoor lawn games, blockades, or even get some Orchards swag to hand out as prizes!
We can provide a list of potential food trucks or drink vendors who may be interested in attending.

*Important Note* The Orchards Club House can only support block parties which have already completed the City of Edmonton Block Party application. Proof of application will be required.
