Specialized Summer Camps

Get your daughter ready for the experience of the summer! Girls In Sport Alberta's camp gives girls an inspiring and confidence-building multi-sport experience that not only introduces them to a range of sports, fostering the development of diverse sport-specific skills, but also instills confidence, competence and motivation. We introduce girls ages 5-12 to many different sports such as ultimate frisbee, soccer, basketball, flag rugby, volleyball, flag football and much more. Each of these sports are taught by experience coaches that strive to create a safe girl-friendly environment. We integrate confidence building activities during the day, crafts and group games to make sure they leave enjoying every moment. Your typical day will look like this:

• 9:00-9:15 - Check-in
• 9:15-9:45 - Group Games
• 9:45-10:20 - Team Games and Challenges
• 10:20-11:05 - Sport #1/Sport#2
• 11:05-11:15 - Snack Break
• 11:15-12:00 - Sport #2/Sport #1
• 12:00-12:25 - Lunch
• 12:25-12:30 - Clean Up
• 12:30-1:15 - Power Up! Chat
• 1:15-2:00 - Sport #3/Sport #4
• 2:00-2:45 - Sport #4/Sport #3
• 2:45-3:00 pm - Clean up, Power Up! Cheer, photo and parent pick up

Come join the Mathnasium Summer Camps, where children in grades 1 to 8 will experience a week of hands-on activities, games, and STEAM (a lesson that covers one of the core STEAM subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects that make learning math both enjoyable and effective!

Your typical day will look like this:

• Check-in
• Individualized math learning plan
• Break
• STEAM Activity
• Break
• Robotics or similar activity

Key Features of Mathnasium Summer Camps:

• Personalized Learning: Our programs are customized to fit each child's unique learning needs. Whether your child needs to catch up, keep up, or get ahead, we tailor the lessons to meet their individual goals.  Students will need to undergo an assessment prior to the camp.

• Fun and Engaging Activities: Through a variety of interactive games, challenges, and STEAM-based activities, kids will see how math applies to real-world situations. Learning math has never been this fun!
